Positive Outlook for the Automotive Industry
TRW Automotive Holdings Corp. raised its full-year sales forecast on Wednesday, pointing to better-than-expected vehicle production levels in North America. TRW Automotive makes auto safety systems and a $1 billion increase in projected sales for the remainder of the year. The company also expects over 600,000 additional vehicles produced in the United States, which is a huge increase for an industry that has seems to have seen its worse days behind it.
This increase in production of automotive equipment and new vehicle production is a positive sign for the struggling automotive industry and also a good sign to support the need for additional automotive technicians.
